Pheasant Hunting

I am not a member. Can I come out to the club?
Yes! The public is welcome to shoot sporting clays, upland bird hunt, book parties and events or enjoy the food in the restaurant. Our members simply enjoy discounts and have more access to field times and various preferences.

How do I become a Member?
You can fill out the online application (pheasant hunting / sporting clays) or you can call Milford Hills directly and have an application mailed or emailed to you. 920-699-2249.

There are other clubs out there. Why should I become a Member at Milford Hills?
The quality of your hunt is important to us. We go through great measures to make sure our fields are in the best condition during the hunting season. That aside, we also offer a dog washing & gun cleaning stations, a locker room with showers, 10 unique fields, a great restaurant, and gorgeous lodge. We are the only five-star rated facility in Wisconsin.

Can I bring my own dog to hunt?
Absolutely. Please just keep in mind you will be responsible for your dog and its actions. We ask that all hunters maintain control of their dogs at all times and are courteous to all other hunters.

If I don't have a dog can you put me in contact with a handler?
Yes. We have a list of handlers that supply both pointer and flusher dogs. Many of the handlers have been hunting our grounds for many years and are quite experienced in how to best work the field you pick.

Can you shoot clays during the hunt season?
Yes, the sporting clays course will be open on Sundays from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. during the months spanning from October-April. Wobble Trap will be available for hunters to warm up every day from 12:00 p.m.-12:30 p.m. Depending on the month and the hunts booked, special exceptions can be made for groups wanting to shoot our winter sporting clays course or Five Stand. Please call the club to find out availability.

When is the hunting season?
The hunting season starts October 1 and goes through March, depending on the weather the season may extend into April.

When is the training field open?
Our dedicated training field is open every day (excluding holidays when the club is closed). Reservations can be made by calling 920-699-2249. During the summer months our other fields are available as well.

Do you have gun rentals?
Our pro shop is stocked with Beretta White Onyx over/under shotguns (for rent $20) eye and ear protection, sporting clay gear, and hunting supplies.

Do you charge for scratch birds?
There is no charge for bagging more birds than released. We only charge for birds released.

Do you have guest fees?
There is no charge for bringing guests to the club. For safety reasons, there is a four gun limit per field.

What are your Restaurant Hours?
Our hours vary with the season. Sometimes we close for private events like weddings. Our hours can be found here. Please call ahead to verify we are open. 920-699-2249

Do you have a Friday Night Fish Fry?
Yes, we are open for Friday Night Fish Fry from October through March, and serve from 4-9 pm. We do not take reservations for Friday Night Fish Fry. Please call ahead to verify we are open. 920-699-2249
