The Marks Brothers, Founders and Co-owners Dan and Lloyd Marks began what is now known as the Milford Hills in 1996. Starting with a "mere" 188 acres, their dream has now grown to become a 400-acre retreat featuring a magnificent European-style lodge with casual and formal dining, catering facilities for corporate and family events, conference rooms, ten Upland Hunting fields and—of course—the most complete, luxurious, state-of-the-art Sporting Clays facility in the Midwest, which recently got rated a Five Star facility from the National Association of Shooting Ranges. Dan and Lloyd were born and raised in nearby Oconomowoc on a family farm with their mom, dad, and two sisters. Both are avid hunters and outdoorsmen.
