Milford Hills is the premiere Midwest venue for Sporting Clays, attracting individual and league players from Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, and points beyond. But Milford Hills is more than just a Sporting Clays venue.

Conceived, designed, and built by its owners as a luxurious retreat nestled in the rolling Southeastern Wisconsin countryside, Milford Hills surrounds its visitors with a country club atmosphere that’s amenable to corporate strategy sessions, incentive programs, and extraordinary family events.

Elegant touches abound, evoking the lush aura of some of the Midwest’s finest golf courses. Our restaurant features both casual and fine dining, created by our resident chef. Our decks, patios, and expansive bar are designed by one of Wisconsin’s leading architects. And even our 210 sq. ft. one-of-a-kind 5-stand is constructed of Brazilian ironwood and cedar!

The award-winning Sporting Clays course at Milford Hills is the ideal place to mix business with pleasure. Spread across 400 beautiful acres of rolling Wisconsin countryside, the course features 8 to 14 automatic stations at which varying numbers of clay pairs are launched and shot at.

Like golf, players or "shooters" walk among the beautiful scenery from station to station, each of which features two or three automatic throwers that launch clays in different and exciting ways.

But unlike golf, Shooting Clays is fun the first time you try it. And since it’s a game of concentration and accuracy rather than of strength, novice men and women are equally challenged—the perfect activity for corporate or family outings.

Learn about our one-of-a-kind Five Stand and Wobble Trap

The one-of-a-kind elevated Five Stand at Milford Hills is just one of the reasons we’re the premiere Midwest venue for Sporting Clays.

Measuring 70 x 30 feet and constructed of Brazilian ironwood and cedar, it’s situated on the crest of a hill that offers a breathtaking panorama of Wisconsin scenery. The Five Stand features six automatic throwers and three 40-foot towers that launch clays in various directions and trajectories.

It’s an experience not to be missed, whether you’re an experienced shooter or have never before held a shotgun!

And don’t forget our new Wobble Trap! It ossilates the clay targets through all planes so that there’s a different presentation each time one is thrown. It’s a great way to get accustomed to a new gun or to indulge in some friendly competetion among colleagues, friends, or family.

I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you what a wonderful time we had at Milford Hills Hunt Club this past Saturday. We were very impressed right from the time we entered the grounds. Being newcomers, we were able to speak with several of the staff members as to what we could expect.
