The Ceremony The Reception The Dinner Indoor & Outdoor Pricing Bachelor Parties Wedding Policies Food Menus    WEDDING POLICIES Food and Beverage Policy - Milford Hills offers a variety of menu items, however if you would like to custom design a menu for your group, please allow additional time.
- The menu price list provided to you is subject to change.
- All food and beverage is subject to a 20% service charge and applicable sales tax.
- Absolutely NO food and beverages can be carried into Milford Hills Hunt Club.
- Menus should be chosen and communicated to Milford Hills a minimum of three (3) weeks in advance to ensure the availability of the desired menu items.
- A guarantee of the minimum number of persons must be specified ten (10) working days prior to the function. A final guarantee is expected five (5) working days prior to the function. This number is not subject to reduction, and increases will be accepted, however we reserve the right to serve a meal of likeness in the event we are unable to provide the menu items chosen. If the guarantee is not received Milford Hills will assume the guarantee is the maximum number of guests as outlined.
- There is a cake cutting fee for all cakes brought into Milford Hills. We need to know how many slices and will charge $0.50 per slice. All cakes/cupcakes need to be baked by a licensed baker.
- Due to strict Health Department codes, no food or beverage may be removed from the premises, with the exception of the wedding cake.
- Minimum number for the lunch and dinner buffet is 30 people. If the final count drops to below 30 people you will still be required to pay for 30 people at the minimum.
- Milford Hills Hunt Club reserves the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to any guest. All guests must have proper identification.
Wedding Policies - A food and beverage contracted minimum is required for Friday's ($4,000), Saturday's ($7,000), and Sunday's ($1,000).
- A $500 Non refundable deposit is required at time of booking and will apply to your final bill. Until we receive your $500 deposit your reservation is tentative and will be dropped after 14 days. Payment of the estimated full amount of the event (food, beverage, rental fees) will be required at least five (5) business days before the event. The remaining balance is due within 10 days after the event. An itemized invoice will be mailed.
- If the dining room is available on the night before your wedding you will be allowed to decorate free of charge as long as a Milford Hills staff member is available. Otherwise decorating can begin at 10 a.m. the day you have booked the dining room. All decorations need to be out of the club by noon the following day.
- All contracted rentals or deliveries need to be confirmed and approved with a Milford Hills staff member one week before the event, with a detailed schedule on arrival and rental items set up time.
- Audio/Visual Equipment: You are welcomed to bring in needed audio visual equipment, please be aware that space is limited. A Portable PA System with microphone is available to use from Milford Hills.
- The use of glitter, confetti, smoke or haze machines and aerosol foam string is prohibited.
- All decorating ideas and plans need to be submitted and approved by a Milford Hills staff member at least one (1) week prior the event. Decorations are not to be nailed or tacked to the walls.
- Taste Testing Consultation Fee: If you would like to schedule a taste testing please schedule the appointment at least 2 weeks prior to the date you want to have the taste testing. Taste testing will include up to one (1) hour consultation with the event planner and selection of 2-3 dinner entrees from the Milford Hills Plated Event Menu. Cost for this consultation/taste testing is $50.00. Additional menu items and beverages will be at an additional cost.
- Wedding Planner Appointments: Facility Fee pricing includes one final consultation meeting (2 hours maximum) with the event planner that usually takes place approx 1 month before the wedding. If you would like to schedule additional appointments with the event planner the cost is $25/hour.
- Ceremony Rehearsals may need to be conducted on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Friday mornings depending on if the facility is booked on Friday or Saturday.
General Policies - Milford Hills Hunt Club reserves the right to require a security/cleaning deposit at time of booking. The deposit will be returned within 7 business days after the event if no damage is incurred or excessive cleaning is required.
- Milford Hills Hunt Club has the right to charge a cleaning fee for excessive cleaning or damage done to the club house or property. We will also charge the contracted party for any permanent damage or stolen items from the property of Milford Hills Hunt Club.
- The club is not responsible for damage or loss of any merchandise, articles of clothing or personal belongings prior to, during or after an event.
- Guests will be expected to depart at the times stated in the contract. Exceeding contracted times may result in an additional charge. Disc Jockey services and bands are required to end their music promptly by midnight. Volume should be kept to an appropriate level.
- All pricing is subject to change without notice. This includes but is not limited to: beverages, food, sporting clays, upland bird pricing, shells and any other services or products that Milford Hills offers.
- Sporting Clays and or Hunting Activities may be conducted while your scheduled activity is in effect. Lessee acknowledges this and is aware of the noise such activities may present.
Cancellation Policy - Should cancellation occur after the signed contract is received by Milford Hills the customer shall forfeit the $500.00 deposit. If cancellation occurs within 32 weeks from the date of the event, the deposit shall be forfeited, and the customer shall be liable for an estimated charge for food, beverages and the facility fee.
- All cancellations must be received in writing.
- Cancellations due to acts of God or like operations, invasion, terrorism, rendering the customer unable to meet its obligation hereunder, shall not be subject to the cancellation fees.
- Likewise, Milford Hills Hunt Club shall similarly be excused in the performance of its obligations here under for reasons of acts of God or like operations, invasion, terrorism, rendering Milford Hills Hunt Club unable to meet its obligation hereunder.
