I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you what a wonderful time we had at Milford Hills Hunt Club this past Saturday. We were very impressed right from the time we entered the grounds. Being newcomers, we were able to speak with several of the staff members as to what we could expect.

Milford Staff,

I just wanted to drop you a line and tell you what a wonderful time we had at Milford Hills Hunt Club this past Saturday. We were very impressed right from the time we entered the grounds. Being newcomers, we were able to speak with several of the staff members as to what we could expect. They took the time to explain to us what Sporting Clay shooting is, how the course is laid out, and how it will change from week to week. The staff told us how the five stand elevated shoot works, and invited us up to watch a 25 round shoot. We thought that before we left, we would like to give it a try. We headed back up to the club house and got signed up for the Sporting Clay 50 rounds shoot. We used the certificates that I had won on the Outdoors show with Dan Small a couple of week ago on on his weekly giveaway. As we made our way around the course, we were very impressed with the grooming of the grounds and the wide variety of the clay action. The score really is not important. We had a blast. We headed back to the club house and had lunch from the menu. We met Chris Cantrell, the Course/ Field Manager and spoke with him for quite some time. Chris took us up to the 5 stand platform and guided us through a 25 round shoot. We had a blast. We decided to have another go on the 5 stand platform. Chris seemed to take us under his wing and guided us through shooting techniques. Our scores improved on the second round. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We spoke with Chris on how we could get signed up for personal instructions and when would be a good time to have them. He said his schedule would be flexible to work out a time. We were very impressed with the whole facility, and how polite and friendly the staff was. Everything exceeded our expectations. We will be planning more trips to this shooter’s paradise.

On behalf of our summer associates and attorneys, many thanks to you and your staff for making our event a very exciting and memorable one. The group was bubbling over with enthusiasm as they swapped stories and a couple of photos from the outing. The response was terrific especially given that we sent you so many novices. Thanks to your entire team for a wonderful event.

Best regards,
Liina

Milford Hills and Chris,
Thank you for all of your help in making that a fun day for all of us including the bachelor. Most of the guys that were there had never shot sporting clays before but they all loved it. I was nervous at first, but then the positive comments started flowing in. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything less from Milford Hills as it always pleases.

Thanks again!

Bucky Shoot 2007
I just wanted to get a quick nod out to you all for the outing on Saturday. I think I have only missed one Bucky Shoot. Every year they have not only gotten bigger, but more organized and well run. It is an easy place to bring both customers and friends with no worries regarding the staff, grounds or other participants. Congratulations.

The whole Milford Staff,

I just want to drop you a note thanking you again for a fantastic event. We have been coming to Milford since the days of a shell of a building, torpedo heater, plank bar and porta potties.Since then the facilities have improved immensely. The building as a whole, the bar and eating facilities and the view is fantastic. But, what hasn’t changed is the hospitality shown by the Milford Staff. Year after year your staff bends over backwards to make sure the hunting and eating experience is top notch. From your dog handlers, to your chef, to the servers and to the owners, we couldn’t ask for a friendlier group of people. Our customer, some who have been coming since our first outing, still comment on how great of a hunt club Milford Hills is. I have seen the growth of your club and all involved at Milford should be very proud of putting together one of the best, if not the best hunt clubs in Wisconsin.

Keep up the great work and we will definitely continue to use Milford Hills as one of our big customer events as well as smaller groups throughout the season.

Regards,
Pat Lawler

 Milford Hills,

The first time we went to Milford Hills Hunt Club was after they hosted the Zone or Wisconsin state shoot. They had 500 plus shooters and many of our students remarked at what a good job they had done. Upon calling them they were egger to have us come and teach. Thus began a close relationship between Vicki and Gil Ash and Dan and Lloyd Marks. The first time we walked into the club house we just felt at home. Since then it has changed. It has gotten so much better. They have grown and expanded their facilities and services. They are not a club they are a business and most importantly they understand this big time! The addition of Chris Cantrell brings experience in not only hoisting extremely large events but setting targets presentations for all levels of events from corporate shoots to world class events.

Think back to the eairly 80’s…1983 or1984. What were you doing? Think about it. We were shooting a new shotgun game here in the U. S. called sporting clays. That’s right we have been involved in sporting clays since it came here in the early 80’s. We have shot it, taught it, and consulted with many ranges and facilities across this country which gives us a depth of knowledge and experience that you won’t often find. We make 20 to 25 trips each year to facilities across this country to teach shooting and consult with owners and managers. As this country’s leading shooting instructors, we are asked to endorse or recommend many products and services. We either highly recommend a product or service or we don’t say anything about it.

We can’t say enough about Milford Hills Hunt Club, Dan and Lloyd Marks, and Chris and whole Milford Hills team. They are the epitome of the phrase…Companies don’t succeed, people do. One thing we can assure you of is that each time you go to Milford Hills it will not be the same. It will just keep on getting better and better. Hard to believe? Go and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed, we guarantee it!
